The Medical Supplies and Equipment Relief Program addresses critical health needs in rural Kenyan communities affected by HIV/AIDS by strengthening local healthcare institutions. MRA achieves this by mobilizing resources from governments, communities, hospitals, partners, and individuals to support sustainable, cost-effective lifesaving efforts. To date, MRA has collected and distributed over $300,000 worth of medical supplies and equipment to healthcare facilities across Kenya.
Beneficiaries of MRA’s medical relief supplies and equipment include Friends of Lugulu Hospital in Western Kenya and several facilities in the Embu and the Rift Valley region, such as Difathers Healthcare Center, Nkararo Health Clinic, Enoosaen Health Center, Kurangurik Dispensary, Akemo Valley Maternity and Nursing Home, and Kilgoris District Hospital.
